COLOR COLLECTIVE - SKETCH COMEDY @ PACK THEATER

The Color Collective small.png

I'm on a new sketch comedy team at the Pack Theater called, "The Color Collective". Our premiere show is on Saturday, June 3 at the Pack and I hope you can join us! Visit us at our Facebook Event for more details.

The Color Collective is a new monthly variety show featuring men and women of color in everything from stand-up and music, to sketch comedy and dance. Every month, we tackle subjects that others can't (or won't) and will make you laugh your ass off.

Don't miss what is sure to be a great comedy experience!

24-HOUR PLAY FESTIVAL @ COMPANY OF ANGELS

Please come out and support my fellow artists as they create several new one-act plays in just 24-hours! Insane you say? Yes! And so much fun! Watch this exhilarating work at the Company of Angels' new theater space on Saturday, June 17th.

The Company of Angels (CoA) is Los Angeles' oldest non-profit repertory company and an award- winning theater that focuses on creating works for the residents of Los Angeles. Last year, I performed in CoA's annual short play festival, "LA VIEWS: Criminal Eyes," that provided an opportunity for Los Angeles based playwrights to be inspired by and write about Los Angeles.

THREE CHEN SISTERS - 陈氏三姐妹  - PILOT

I had the great pleasure of working with up and coming director, Elaine Wong, on her pilot, "Three Chen Sisters". In this wacky ensemble comedy, I play the oldest of three Chinese sisters who must abide by her mother's traditional expectations, while attempting to develop her own sense of independence. The talented cast also includes Joanne Chew, Hana Wu, and Grace Shen.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - COMEDY DIGITAL SERIES

I was thrilled to work once again with Producer, Katrina Kudlick (Paris Window, Mr Chu’s Evaluations) this month. Straight from the comedic mind of Josh Lanzet, the digital series, "No Experience Necessary," is directed by Matt McClung.

ROSE AND THE RIME @ SACRED FOOLS THEATER - THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE

I'm currently in rehearsals for the next mainstage production at Sacred Fools Theater in Hollywood. We open January 20, 2017 and have a wonderfully talented cast to bring this new "fairy tale" to you and your family.

WEST COAST PREMIERE! “Maybe next time we’ll have a different story.” ROSE AND THE RIME tells the tragic and magical story of the frozen town of Radio Falls. When Uncle Roger reveals to young Rose the truth about her parents, Rose sets off to find the mysterious Rime Witch. What follows is a stark transformation of the town and its inhabitants. From snowfall and sledding to witches and barbecues, the tale of Radio Falls and its inhabitants is spun right before our eyes through a mixture of inventive ensemble physicality, music, and puppetry, all supported by projected animation. Like all great fables, it’s sophisticated and mature while accessible to all ages. One of the House Theatre of Chicago's most beloved original myths, Rose and the Rime reminds us once more that in order to last, happiness must be shared: if we keep it for ourselves, it will disappear.
