WORLD PREMIERE! What does sanctuary from fear, hate, prejudice, violence, and oppression look like? Sanctuary is about feeling safe. Whether it’s safe from ICE, a school shooter, or gentrification. In the tenth anniversary of our LA VIEWS play festival,Company of Angels explores the meaning of sanctuary (protection, fairness, equality, and refuge) as played out in the lives of Angelenos. In an evening of seven short plays by local playwrights, "LA Views X: Sanctuary" examines the American ideal of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness within the current political climate in which, at best, many feel unwelcome, and at worst, are targets of hate.

HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL: THE COLOR COLLECTIVE  (SKETCH COMEDY)

I'm performing with my sketch team, The Color Collective, at the Hollywood Fringe Festival throughout June.

The Color Collective is a comedy variety show featuring women and POCs in everything from music and dance to stand-up and sketch comedy, The Color Collective strives to be a show for all people, where we can tackle topics that typically aren’t (or can’t) be covered by others. Our goal is to make the audience laugh and see past our color or gender and to be sure that the point of view of minorities and women are always heard.

Inspired by In Living Color, Chappelles’s Show, and other variety shows of the past, we show that smart, unique comedy can come in all shades. We want to highlight artists that may not always get the same spotlight as others of a different color or gender.
